The St. Regis Macao is pleased to welcome award-winning mixologist, Tural Hasanov, for an exclusive cocktail journey at The St. Regis Bar. Tural is the director of beverage at The Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai and he has been a guest mixologist for various properties within Marriott International and won the “People Choice Mixologist of the Year” by That’s Shanghai Magazine in 2020. Tural is credited for pioneering creative cocktails for different venues and occasions inspired by a sense of place. His professional demeanor and in-depth knowledge have led him to mentor many aspiring bartenders.
Guests can discover a selection of New York-inspired cocktails handcrafted by Tural at The St. Regis Bar. Wind your way through their curated cocktail list inspired by the home of the Astor, New York. Each infusion evokes a unique story from the city’s five boroughs, steeped in heritage and vibrant mythology of Upper Manhattan, Lower Manhattan, East Side, West Side, and Midtown.

The 3rd “Encounter in Macao – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries” features six highlights, namely the Lusofonia Festival, the Traditional Music and Dance Performance in the Community, the China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Film Festival, the Annual Arts Exhibition between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, The Belt and Road Cultural Talk Series – Samba and Dance, and the Taipa Houses 100th Anniversary Activities.
The Festival not only showcases the diverse cultures of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries but also implements and deepens the establishment of Macau as a “Cultural Exchange Centre between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”, offering residents and tourists a unique Sino-Portuguese cultural experience. This edition of the Arts and Cultural Festival between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries brings the culture and customs of Portuguese-speaking countries to the community through an array of activities, building Macau as a platform for cultural exchange between China and Portuguese-speaking countries and promoting heart-warming exchanges. Through the cultural performances, traditional song and dance, and cinema of the Portuguese-speaking communities, the Festival showcases the diverse and inclusive values of Macau and its historical evolution throughout centuries of harmonious coexistence without loss of identity.

Hairy Crab Menu at Grand Lisboa Palace
Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau is launching a special hairy crab menu at Chalou, featuring meticulous Cantonese delicacies enhanced by the prized crustaceans. Paying homage to classic Canton culture with a modern design language, Chalou has carefully selected high-quality Jiangsu freshwater hairy crabs to make dishes not only with sweet crab meat but also decadent roe. Through rich flavors and precise presentation, the hairy crab specials at Chalou are not to be missed.
Limited to five portions per day, the giant hairy crab roe with sea urchin braised homemade noodles are made with at least eight hairy crabs. Fresh crab roe paste and half a plate of sea urchins are served with al dente and smooth noodles, fit to serve eight to ten guests. Fragrantly rich and strong tasting, the noodles are paired with small plates of extra toppings and condiments for guests to adjust the portions and flavors to their liking.

Structural Ambiguity – Works by Angel Chan
Angel Chan’s upcoming exhibition at AFA is part of the “Femininity in Art” – Women Artists Exhibition Series. She graduated from the Macao Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, majoring in ceramics, and later graduated from the Taipei University of Education with a Master’s degree in Art and Plastic Design.
Chan has been a fan of high heels since the early days of her career, later on, she abandoned the appearance of high heels and transformed them into symbols, using plaster molds to re-mold the shapes of high heels, the same shape of heels being arranged in different ways to form what appears to be an autonomous form.
Through her study of art and modeling, Chan internalized the contradictory entities that created them as part of her artistic work and part of herself. This process demonstrates the transformation of Angel Chan in her own artistic journey.

The Little Rabbit Lanterns – An Exhibition by Carlos Marreiros and Friends Part 16 showcases 18 new creative rabbit lanterns. These lanterns are designed by 17 artists, including Carlos Marreiros, Alfredo Ceynas, André Lui Chak Keong, Bernardo Amorim, Cai Guo Jei, Eric Fok, Eva Mok, Graça Pacheco Jorge, Ieong Man Pan, James Chu, Lili Silverinha, Manuel S. Leong, Pedro Barreiros, Sisi Wong, Ugo Re, Wilson Chi-Ian Lam and Wong Weng Io.
Albergue SCM has been organizing this exhibition since 2009. Until 2020, there had been 15 editions of the exhibition, showcasing around 200 lanterns created by artists from all around the world. These exhibitions were held in the galleries of Albergue SCM and other venues in Macau. In 2016, the 10th Edition of this exhibition was introduced to Portugal, sharing the tradition of rabbit lantern-making of Macau to audiences worldwide.

The Manor at The St. Regis Macao Presents Alba White Truffle Creations
The Manor at The St. Regis Macao presents the “Diamonds of the Kitchen” six-course Alba white truffle menu to delight guests with the earthy and woodsy flavors of this rare gem. Known as the “diamond of the kitchen”, the white truffle is a precious ingredient with limited production around the world. The intensely flavored white truffle needs to be espoused with delicate ingredients to bring out the best of its flavors. Executive sous chef Michele Dell’ Aquila takes guests on an aromatic six-course truffle journey curated with seasonal ingredients from Italy. The entire menu has been created to elegantly showcase the highly sought-after white truffles from Alba, the picturesque town in northwestern Italy. Known as the white truffle capital of the world, they are available for just a few months each year in Fall.
Chef Michele invites guests to celebrate fall in Italy with his six-course white truffle menu featuring exotic ingredients such as a wild game, chestnuts, and mushrooms, all topped with generous shavings of Alba white truffles. Entice the taste buds with Brittany lobster, burrata and tomato with truffle caviar, chestnut ravioli in truffle consommé, Rhug estate smoked wild roe deer Acquerello risotto with truffle crutin cheese, Mediterranean turbot baked in a cocoa crust with Calvisius Oscietra royal caviar, slow-cooked french partridge dressed with alba white truffle or Japanese Akaushi A5 sirloin with bordelaise truffle sauce and Valrhona Manjari chocolate with chestnut confit and truffle ice cream.
Guests can elevate their dining experience further with a specially curated wine pairing menu featuring premium wines from Italy, designed to accentuate the decadent flavors of the truffles.

“Symbiosis: Imagery and Aptitude” PRD Contemporary Art Exhibition
“Symbiosis: Imagery and Aptitude” is a collective exhibition presenting the works of 21 artists and institutes around the Pearl River Delta area. It explores the talents’ take on contemporary art and history. If history is only a mere occurrence, there will only be surprises but not any regrets. When historians tried to find out the reasons for the decline of painting exports, they all attributed the cause to the introduction of photography and printing techniques during the period of Emperors Daoguang and Xianfeng, which replaced the handicrafts with painters. Thus, it is invincible for the fall of painting exports. History will not repeat itself but only the pattern.
Compared with the impact on the painting export industry in Guangzhou caused by the photography and printing techniques in the 19th century, we are now in the digital media era, surrounded by countless images that could be generated and transmitted in an unprecedented array of methods. The traditional painting technique in the west has shown signs of waning in this new image era, similar to the decline of the painting export industry in the past. If technology only affected the painters and the industry that reproduced works three centuries ago, what technology will sweep across nowadays is all the art forms of painting.
